Music School Subotica was one of the first music schools in the region to offer education in so-called non-classical, yet highly popular, musical instruments. Today, the school has six departments, divided into Vocal and Instrumental Studies and Music Theory. The newer departments include Ethno Music and Jazz Music.
Students can currently study more than 20 musical instruments. The school has approximately 800 students and around 100 teachers.
Music School Subotica is the only music school in Serbia that provides education in two languages – Serbian and Hungarian.
