Music kindergarten is designed for our youngest students, 6-year-olds, since that is the ideal age for any child to start with the first musical education through play and fun. In music classes preschoolers play games and participate in other interactive activities which help them internalize the foundational skills they will use as their musical abilities grow. Students have one weekly group lesson in which they learn about rhythm, song structure, melody, and dynamics through play.
In the kindergarten classes students will:
- listen to carefully selected music,
- play music games,
- get to know musical instruments,
- play rhythmic instruments,
- acquire basic musical literacy.
Kindergarten teacher is Eva Takač.
There are two 45 minutes long group lessons per week.
After the kindergarten, pupils move to the 1st preparatory grade.
